Soyeon Lee, born in Pusan, South Korea, earned her Bachelor’s degree at Pusan National University in piano performance and her master’s degree in piano performance at the University of Georgia’s Hugh Hodgson School of Music in honor of an outstanding performer. She received full scholarship from UGA and a teaching assistantship for 2 years while pursuing master’s degree. She was a pianist for Rote Hund Musik, a contemporary chamber ensemble in UGA. In addition, she was a teacher for Community Music School at UGA. She got an outstanding performer award at the Georgia Music Teachers Association’s competitions and a Pedagogy Award from UGA. She also participated in the Art of the Piano festival, which is one of the competitive festivals in USA. She currently works as a piano teacher and an accompanist in New York after she has moved to New Jersey.
